Writing Articles - Start Strong, Finish Strong

If you're writing articles for the internet, either to give information or to drive traffic to your site-or both-there are two parts of the article that will make it stand out for your reader.To get and keep their attention, you have to start strong, and finish strong with good headlines, introductions, conclusions, and the very important resource box.

• Use compelling headlines.There are probably many articles posted on your topic. To make yours stand out, it has to have an interesting title.Sometimes, if your article is otherwise good, simply improving the headline will bring in more traffic.
• Keep it interesting.Even the world's best title will not save a boring first paragraph.That paragraph's job is to let your readers know why your article will interest them.If you can keep their attention for those sentences, you are likely to keep it through the whole article.
• Continue the way you began.You've got a compelling headline and a riveting first paragraph-don't blow it now!The body of your article should contain information that does what your introduction promised and does it well.Don't go off topic, even if you know a lot about tangential ideas; save those for another article.Give your information succinctly, and readers will stay with you until the end.
• Make your resource box pay.The resource box is the signature at the end of an article that tells your readers how to contact you or where to find more of your information.This is the very reason why article marketing works; that box influences people to click over to your site, and your traffic is improved.

Remember, start strong, continue strong, and finish strong, and your articles will be worth their weight in gold.
